    Campers

Camp HERO welcomes children and teenagers ages 8–17 who are deaf or hard of hearing. Campers enjoy a week filled with swimming, crafts, rock climbing, bonfires, and much more. Every day is an opportunity to explore, create, and make new friends who will last a lifetime, all while being in an environment where communication is accessible and you can be yourself.

    Counselors

Our counselors are the ones who bring the energy, the excitement and the heart to Camp HERO! They're the ones in charge of making sure everyone has the most fun possible and are always cheering the campers on. Whether it's participating in goofy games or sharing late-night campfire laughs, our counselors make sure that everyone is included, supported, and prepared for an epic week of adventure.

    Interpreters

Our interpreters are a big part of what makes Camp HERO so amazing! They help everyone communicate easily, connect more deeply, and be fully included in the fun. Thanks to them, campers and counselors can relax, be themselves, and enjoy every moment.
